Awesome product!
Awesome product! I purchased The Buddy System Hands- Free Leash System to help me when I shop with my husband who has Alzheimers. We have a service dog to help him, and the Buddy System keeps him from wandering in a store while I check out. I put Tabouli, our dog, in a sit stay and he won't move until I free him to move. Although he is a small dog of 22 lbs, he holds firm like being attached to a cinder block. It also helps him to walk a bit faster with the dog at his side and I don't have to worry about the leash being dropped. Fantastic use of an already great product!

A well designed system
I have used this system for years, using the same belt and leashes on up to five Shelties, Labrador retrievers, Border collies and assorted mutts. It is sturdy and well designed.
While it may seem as if you could replicate it by simply looping a leash onto a belt, it's cumbersome to unbuckle and rebuckle one's belt to walk the dog.
The convenience is well worth it.
This system really shines with multiple dogs, allowing you to clip and unclip your dog(s) as needed quickly and easily. It also keeps everything tidy. We keep the belt hung next to the door and we're good to go in an instant.
The clips are amazingly sturdy--ours have lasted for year. The scissor clip that clips to the collar is metal and of a design I wish ALL leashes had. It is incredibly simple to use.
The belt loops move smoothly so you can make quick adjustments which is helpful in training your dog(s). You do need to train them a bit at first to prevent tangling. Once you do, it's like driving a stagecoach team.
