...The Buddy System is my favorite leash and if I had to give up all my other dog products (not including Lucky's harness) I would not be as upset as I would be if I had to give up my Buddy System! My neighbor bought one some time ago and she LOVES it. My sister-in-law will be buying one because it's the only one that helps her control her dog. She keeps trying to steal mine. I can walk my mom's dog (100lb +) only on the Buddy System (with Lunge Buster) and this dog's bad behavior on the leash caused my mom to break her ankle. I *told* my mom that she could only walk him on this leash! Oh, and not to wear flip flops. The woman doesn't listen. :)Your product revolutionized my dog walking. It's a dramatic statement, but you'd have to know my stoic and protective ridgeback mix. He demanded a walk every 30 minutes after the first walk with it. He no longer lunges out, he lunges up, and he is more able to focus on voice commands. He feels more free and can now enjoy being outside with me when I'm doing something else because my hands are free and holding the leash is obviously not now a burden.

Buddies, I love my buddy system. Xena has to be on lead when walking to our favorite running area. Once there, I release her from the buddy system and my hands or pockets do not have to carry anything as the lead is around my waist. Doris and Xena the Pie-Eyed Wonder Border Collie!

As an additional point of interest, I have this end toward my waist. I then adjust the length so that there is a loop similar to a regular leash formed at that end of the leash. This way if my Lab starts to pull, I can grab this "loop" and give him an immediate correctional tug. While making quick movements, like crossing the street, I hold onto both loops and have an easier time if both dogs run a little quicker than I can.
