Yes. Because the leash attaches at your waist, your body can better absorb and manage pulling compared to holding a leash in your hand.
For dogs that tend to lunge, pull, or get overly excited around distractions, we highly recommend adding one or two Lunge Busters for additional shock absorption and comfort.

The quick answer: if your dog weighs over 20 lbs, we recommend the Regular Leash System. If your dog weighs under 20 lbs, the Small Dog System is usually the best choice.
Have a puppy that's still growing? Many customers start with the Small Dog System while training and then transition to the Regular System with an Extra Buddy as their dog grows. If your dog is on the edge of either, you can contact us for the best recommendations depending on your pups temperament.
That depends on where you're located! All website orders ship from Washington State. We typically ship via USPS and offer expedited shipping options if you need your gear a little faster.
